Lubin's online MS in Taxation offers critical foundational skills with respect to business tax issues, such as financial and managerial accounting, the legal environment of businesses, fundamental tax concepts, and property sale and exchange. From there students are able to choose from a variety of courses that provide specialized insight into all aspects of tax practice.

Graduates of the program are well-prepared to quantify risk and predict shifts in tax environments. Every professor who teaches in the program is credentialed in tax practice (CPA or LLM) with years of full-time practice in the tax field.

CPAs, attorneys, and those who have completed undergraduate studies in accounting and law will find the curriculum particularly flexible and relevant in taking their career to the next level. You can complete this program in two years while working full-time or in as little as one year as a full-time student.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if post secondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.

For Lubin School of Business, a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, a minimum TOEFL Essentials score of 8.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, Pearson PTE academic score of 52, a minimum overall Duolingo score of 115, an ISE II Distinction in Trinity Exam or a Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency score of 176 on Cambridge Exam is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
