Sustainability & Real Estate

Real estate is growth management. Sustainable real estate development is increasingly important within the real estate industry. This focus will give you the tools to effectively evaluate, manage and recognize opportunities in real estate from a sustainable development perspective. Opportunities exist in real estate development firms, real estate investment trusts (REITs), large corporations, environmental agencies and other companies with an interest in sustainable business practices.

Real Estate Finance

This focus gives you the tools to effectively evaluate, manage and recognize opportunities in real estate from a financial perspective. Opportunities exist within real estate development firms, financial institutions, real estate investment firms, real estate investment trusts (REITs), mutual fund companies, hedge funds, consulting firms and financial analysis positions within non-real estate companies who have real estate.

Entrepreneurial Real Estate

Many real estate companies are small and dynamic and an entrepreneurship focus in real estate maximizes your ability to make an impact in these companies.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. Other English language Requirements: TOEFL paper based score of 600.

For international students

Applicants must:

Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, or have done work equivalent to that required for such a degree.

Show promise of ability to pursue advanced study and research, as judged by the student’s scholastic record.

Have adequate preparation to enter graduate study in the chosen field. Have at least a 2.75 (2.00=C) undergraduate grade point average.

All international applicants are required to meet a minimum standard of English proficiency.
