About this course

What will I learn?

Illinois Tech’s Master of Network Engineering is a course-only degree program that prepares students for professional practice in network engineering and information technologies. Students will gain advanced skills in designing systems, products, and services related to network engineering.Learn how to protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. Develop the skills needed to plan, implement, and oversee computer networks supporting in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.Courses include very large-scale integration (VLSI) architecture, wireless and high-speed networks, design optimization, and protocols.

Entry requirements

For international students

Illinois Tech requires a four-year bachelor's degree conferred with a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0/4.0 (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution for regular admission. Individual departments may have different requirements, however.
