What will I learn?

The Post-Master’s Certificate in School Administration requires 24-27 credit hours and is designed to prepare students for positions as principals or assistant principals and meets the requirements of the state legislation that supports an alternative path to school administration licensure (also known as “add-on” principal licensure).

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students must have completed a high school diploma and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required; preferred 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale. UNCG accepts the following English Language Proficiency results for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report; PTE Academic 53 minimum; and Level 5 Certificate – American Language Academy (ALA).

For international students

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or appropriately evaluated credentials for non-U.S. schools.

English Language Proficiency: TOEFL: internet based - 79, or paper based - 550. A score of at least 6.5 is required on the IELTS.
