This Bachelor of Arts program in theatre with a concentration in design and production provides students with opportunities to hone their craft while creating exciting work on stage. The concentration provides each student with the distinct opportunity to explore their own creative process, while enhancing their ability to collaborate with others. In addition to building knowledge and skills, concentration students are mentored by professional designers and technicians to successfully transition from college to their future careers in entertainment design and production, or to graduate programs for additional training. ASU's Gammage theatre is one of the world's largest university-based presenters of performing arts, and hosts Broadway shows in Phoenix. Theatre students have state-of-the-art facilities including multiple performance venues, rehearsal studios, a theatre scene shop, costume shop, and lighting and sound workshops.
