What will I learn?

The Two-Plus-Two Engineering Program is offered jointly by the University of North Carolina Wilmington College of Science and Engineering and the North Carolina State University College of Engineering. It leads to a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in one of the engineering disciplines listed below. The purpose of the Two-Plus-Two Program is to offer students the opportunity to complete the first two years of an engineering degree program at UNCW and then transfer to NC State University in Raleigh, NC to complete their undergraduate engineering degree. Courses offered at UNCW in the first two years include courses in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as several basic engineering courses, which are delivered via distance education from NC State. At this time, registration for the distance education courses is completed through the Two-Plus-Two Program offices. An introductory engineering course, EGN 101, is offered at UNCW.

English Proficiency

TOEFL: minimum of 71.

IELTS: minimum of 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 105

Pearson PTE - minimum score 54

iTEP Academic - minimum score of 3.7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they become complete: Fall - April 1; Spring - October 1.
