The School of Business’ Career Services Section help students with their career development, on top of the HKBU Career Centre. Aside from industry seminars and corporate visits, the Career Services Section offers professional advice that includes one-on-one career coaching and organises business skills enhancement workshops.

Face-to-face teaching on campus has resumed at the HKBU School of Business. All the student learning programmes, activities, training workshops, talks, career services and consultations, as well as recruitment talks are held face-to-face on campus. The HKBU School of Business launched a new MSc in Marketing for the Creative Economy (MScMCE) programme in 2022, in which the programme is jointly offered by the School of Business in collaboration with the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). This programme rides on the rapid expansion of the creative economy in recent years and the trend of applying arts and cultural elements in business operations and industry practices.
The MScMCE programme is an interdisciplinary platform for “Art x Marketing” talented individuals who show promise in managing, administering and operating creative projects and policies, providing the necessary training in business and marketing for students to excel in this field. The MScMCE is a unique programme to cultivate creative and cultural leaders equipped with knowledge that can be applied in retail marketing, entrepreneurship, creative industries, arts administration and management.
This programme also offers students the opportunity to join a two-week overseas field trip to broaden their experience and understanding of creative economies at an international level. The opportunity comes along with a subsidy of HK 10,000.

The Department is committed to providing students with quality whole-person business education and conducting impactful business research with and for society. Broad knowledge, professional skills and dynamic pedagogy are emphasised in their teaching and learning activities.
The Department is dedicated to being a leader in whole-person business education and a centre of research excellence. It has two well-established centers - Center for Human Resource Management and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center - that strengthen the linkage between the department and the business community.
The HKBU School of Business offers international students a wide variety of scholarships. The scholarships range from full tuition fee waivers plus living allowance to full tuition fee waivers, half tuition fee waivers or one-off entrance scholarships. Competition for scholarships increases as the year progresses, so students are encouraged to apply early.
International Postgraduate Scholarships (IPS) are merit awards for postgraduate international students who have demonstrated all-round excellence. Recipients enjoy full tuition waiver and a living allowance of approximately USD 12,820.
These scholarships are for new entrants and consider factors like cultural experiences, work experience, international exposure, overseas education, special achievement, and talents. The scholarships can range up to a full tuition fee waiver.
The Entrance Awards or Admission Scholarships offer financial support to students with excellent qualifications and interview performance.
The Graduation Academic Awards or Merit-based Awards reward students for their academic achievements at the time of graduation.
These scholarships are established to reward outstanding local and non-local students to study in the undergraduate programme – BBA (Hons).

Bloomberg Laboratory
The Bloomberg laboratory, which houses a Bloomberg terminal, provides students with exposure to one of the most powerful systems which financial professionals around the world use. Users of the terminal can monitor and analyse financial data in real-time, get price quotes, news and use secure messaging.
Datastream Laboratory
Datastream is a data-driven service integrating economic research and strategy with asset analysis in one integrated application. It is widely used by those working in the asset management industry.
Laboratory for Applied Business Research
Staff and Research Postgraduate students can use the laboratory for Applied Business Research to carry out academic research activities. Undergraduates in their final year can also use it to work on their honours or academic research projects.
Simulated Trading Laboratory
The Simulated Trading Laboratory is used by those who are part of the Fund Management Committee, to invest real money donated by alumni.
Computer Laboratories
A total of 120 PCs, equipped with SPSS software, are available for students to work on.
Learning Commons
This is a serene environment that lends itself to brainstorming and collaboration for team projects.
