Friendly environment to study and good place to build a network

I had a wonderful experience as an International student at Charles Darwin University, Sydney Campus. It was a platform for me to learn and build networks. Lecturers are professional and experienced in their field. It's flexible to meet lecturers and get support from the staff in need. They are really helpful and motivating. I got an opportunity to get involved in different CDU Sydney events and marketing campaign as a Student Ambassdor. I met people from different parts of the world at CDU which expanded my network and help me to know different culture. The course I studied, MBA (Professional Practice), had an internship program at last semester where I got chance to work at MAYDAY Recruitment as an intern. And through them I was offered an Accounts Payable Officer Role at Steinhoff Asia Pacific [now Greenlit Brands, Sydney, a parent company of Freedom, Fantastic Furniture, Snooze, Plush, OMF, Best & Less, Harris Scarfe and Postie]. I would suggest students to utilise the facilities that Uni provide in proper manner and involve in different activities that university organizes. It expands your knowledge and help you to build network for your career ahead.

Saying it how it is.

Honestly, i have a distinction average and many distinctions.

I cannot find any work. After graduating I have recently found not only am i not able to get any work post completing my intensive pathology laboratory medicine / microbiology immunology course. I can not even get volunteer work, an internship, work experience but lots of opportunities are privided according to your blog? Really? I have spoken to hundreds of students and the majority are experiencing what i am even after post graduate studies. Do you want to pay $60,000 plus other expenses to not be employed?

My advice is try research your interests prior. They do not usually provide opportunities it is very money and research focused. Otherwise youll end up with debt. Having to deal with beurocracy throughout your studies and have nothing to show.

I had a great time. I am smarter and more prepared for life than i was before. But at times there was little or no support provided by them. No opportunities despite the sleepless night and efforts to make the professors happy. This is the whole picture.

I loved my time there. It was great. Id probably do it again. But sadly the emphasis is on the universities desires not your own so please dont mistake that and research their policies and your life plans before starting as it will help you greatly. Now i will likely do a completely unrelated post grad to get a job in a field that i kinda like as i dont want to start a new bachelors.

Goodluck guys. This message may get deleted... But i hope it does not. Goodluck :)

Sincerely

Masters program in UT Tyler

I am a student of masters program in Mathematics in UT Tyler, and I also work as a Teaching Assistant. Even though its a small school compared to the others that I have applied , the quality of education and overall facility has been great so far. I admire how helpful professors have been to me, that made my first year less difficult. Also a perk of working as a TA is getting the tuition waived to half ,around $3,500 which is very affordable.
I am enjoying my time in UT Tyler and highly recommend to anyone who is interested in undergrad or masters program here in US.

Studying at UniSA

Choosing to study at UniSA was one of the best decisions I have ever made. One of the best parts of being in UniSA Business School is that I am guided by my study plan to choose subjects for each semester, decide which class times I would like to attend and enroll accordingly. My flexible timetable allowed me to take on casual jobs and participate in events organised by UniSA’s clubs and societies. It was helpful to know that if I couldn’t attend a lecture, I could watch the recordings. Tutorials and workshop classes are also structured to focus on students’ involvement and contribution. Outside class, there’s plenty of help to ensure students get enough support to complete their courses successfully. Apart from studies, UniSA Business School organises various events and programmes to ensure the students are given enough opportunities to develop holistically. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience at UniSA.

Go Global

I took part to the “Go Global” programme in China last year and it has been an exceptional experience that I highly suggest to any students. It is a trip of life time that offers students at the University of Bedfordshire to spend 10 days in one of the University’s partners campus around the world ( Including China, Malesia, Vietnam, Malesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and many others …) Go global gave me the opportunity to discover the Chinese Culture, local traditions and visit interesting heritages. It was great to get to know local students and spend some time with them. I was really impressed by their hospitality, friendless and respect for others.

Student Ambassador

The University of Bedfordshire offers many opportunities, one of them is definitely the opportunity to become a Student Ambassador. I am finding this role very challenging and interesting. In fact, it gave me the possibility to work together with the recruitment team and other ambassadors in a very wide range of events, including Open-Day, Taster Days, and the annual UCAS exhibition. This role allowed me to interact with prospective students, share my University experience and provide advices. On a personal level, it is a great opportunity to develop key employability skills, including organisational, time management and public speaking.

International Business

My experience at the University of Bedfordshire has been excellent so far. I am really enjoying my course and the possibility to work with people coming from over the world. The University's facilities are great, especially the library that is opened 24/24 during the Academic year. Teachers are very friendly and always available to provide you any support. They really make my lessons engaging and interesting.
There are also many extracurricular activities, including the possibility to join societies, sports team or just relax in the Student Hub.
