SUNY New Paltz

I came to New Paltz because it was pretty affordable compared to other private art universities in New York City. Even though it's a small university, I find that the faculties are very supportive of the work you do. They're willing to help every students because of the small class size. The art studios are very spacious and equipped. I feel that my choice of going to New Paltz was worth it and I'm enjoying my experience!

Very Inclusive Community

I recently transferred to SUNY New Paltz and I have loved the inclusive environment that this campus has. There is a wide array of interesting and unique clubs to join, tons of ways to get involved on campus and many more ways to help the community around you. I love SUNY New Paltz and I’m glad that I made the decision to come here!

An A+ school for B students

I am a transfer student coming from a community college near home. It's my first semester here in New Paltz and I'm having the time of my life meeting new people and growing my relationships with my professors. The Professors always go above and beyond to show how much they care about your education. If you need help that is not on their time they are more than happy to try their best to fit you in, and if they can't help you the Center for Student Success will! It is such a beautiful campus that cares about our earth and the way we live. Everyone is also very friendly. I highly recommend coming to see how great SUNY New Paltz is for yourself!

Worst experience in my life

Exam division, finance division, student affair division, jaya catering and all that provide services to students, you will receive 0/5 star service. They won't even crack a smile to you when you pay for foods or snacks, they will angrily take your money and leave. Talking in phone while working is their culture there, don't be surprise if you see them talking in phone with his/her bf/gf while doing their work. However, lecturers are helpful and very passionate in teaching.

Hey there! I have always wanted to find a balance between studying and experiencing the college life. I can positively say that coming to MSU has given me the opportunity to find where my interests lay and create a strong foundation to ensure a path of success. Being an international student, there comes a great change when you move away from your country, your family and starting a new life. However, the transition from high school to college seemed fairly easy and enjoyable to me. I just absolutely love how you can have fun and at the same time be able to focus on school. The professors are very helpful and are determined to ensure student success :)
