Music department

I really like the environment of the music department. All of the students knew each other and we treat everyone like our own family member so it’s really comfortable studying in MIA MUSIC department. Besides, there are many activities happening inside it, such as choir, music performance, student recitals, competitions, workshops and many more. If you wanted to learn, I really recommend here

Great experience

Great staff, good locality, very less distance from gurudwara sahib in lasalle. The administration is very helpful not only in making the admission process easy but also help the students to start their life outside college by providing them with accomodation that is near to the college.

MIA Music Course

The course provides music students a solid foundation and offers an abundance of experiences that equips one for what comes after – be it further studies or work. Above all else is the dedication of the lecturers as well as the care they have for each students wellbeing. I definitely recommend MIA to prospective music students.

Lecture and course

The lecturers are very nice, and teach well. They are kind and very punctual . If there is anything, you can feel free to ask them any time that you want . They will try to help and give suggestions. The music course is 2 and a half years (only Diploma) and I really wish that there is Degree Music course.

Lecturer are friendly and at the same time professional! They give all their knowledge to the student without keeping to them

Studying music in Malaysia Institute of Art is a great choice for students who are looking for a proper music course. The music lessons here include music history, aural training harmony, counterpoint, arranging, orchestration, intellectual property, conducting, traditional music. I found that studying here compares to other private universities in Malaysia. The course provide a lots of training before we step into the music industry.

Experienced teachers

I've just completed my music study at MIA and gained useful knowledge from all the respective experienced teachers. They are very helpful, encouraging and selfless when it comes to sharing their thoughts and experiences in music and life. Definitely made me not regret going back to student life after years of work experience.
