Accommodation

City university is quitly nice environment to study but when it comes to science students there will be abit problem with the laboratory accommodation. The management procedures also need to change slightly with students needs. I'm not here to vomit out out the negative aspect just here to deliver what the things we should fix back to make our university looks more good. Thanks

I find the university is good starting with structure and services offered within. The respond is very polite and I can say they are trying hard to fulfill everybody's dreams through quality education and reap its benefit through effective application

Don't. Just, Don't.

The actual teachers are okay (they use working professionals rather than just academics), but it's their administration that is the problem. If there is a more difficult and convoluted way of doing anything at all, they have found it and perfected both the difficulty and convolution to maximum. And they're about as flexible as an Adamantium Mithril Alloy. If their fancy marketing is swaying you, then the key to working with them is to add about 25-50% to any timing they promise because they tend to keep the unnecessarily complicated and convoluted requirements for things like supervision a tightly held secret until you pay them. Plus any practice or supervision component, you get absolutely zero assistance - don't believe anything that hints otherwise.

Why I chose Carleton

I did my undergrad at Carleton University in Public Affairs and Policy Management and could not recommend it more. No only is it situated in the countries capital city but you are surrounded by opportunity. I found that Carleton provided the support I needed while I navigated my next steps. It also is a University that promotes a sense of community and support.

post-graduate school experience

I'm a graduate of Oil and Gas management 2015. The course modules are well composed and covers all aspect of the oil and gas industry. I loved myself and the school as well when I found myself managing in one of the fast growing indigenous oil companies in Nigeria (AYM SHAFA LTD). I managed within the context of the knowledge acquired in this refutable university. I have been attending courses after graduation however, all of the courses were within the scope of the faculty module, which I end up regretting paying for a repeat of a module undergone while in Coventry. I would love to have come back for Phd if not for a tight office schedule.

Lacking in Course Material

Lets get one thing straight. This is not delivered by an actual University but by a RTO much like TAFE. So far I have found the material very patching leaving me to resort to watching Youtube Videos to learn what is required in the assessments!
