Commerce @ UniMelb

UniMelb is currently undergoing a massive change, known as the Melbourne Model. This may be seen as a disadvantage or advantage, depending on your priorities. In a gist, UniMelb is adopting a US-style approach to tertiary education, by having only very general degrees and thus making it advisable for students to further their study with Honors, etc. However, I love how UniMelb has some of the best lecturers and an amazing uni life. There are tonnes of activities/clubs as well.

Juste une autre malaisienne en Australie

Melbourne has been incredibly kind to me. For the grand majority of my two years there, I loved my courses and was happy with my professors and tutors. In terms of lifestyle, I lived at college for two years (St Mary's College, population circa 160, co-ed, houses some of the most friendly people on the planet) and had an amazing time. Another valuable aspect of Melbourne is that it has exchange accords with a massive range of internationally acclaimed universities abroad.

Bachelor of Communication @ ECU

From an international students perspective, I really love studying in ECU because of the comfort that the university offers to students when making such a huge transition in life. I would advice that students look through the course that they want to do(career-wise), and view the units available to see if any of it piques their interests.

A Quiet Place called Perth

It has been a fairly interesting run by studying away from home and placed in a different environment. Just brace yourself for some culture change and a different climate, but mostly anyone can settle in easily.

Accounting in Curtin.

Studying at Curtin is definitely a rewarding experience because of its cultural diversity and its unending supply of studying facilities. It has its own bus port and is located just about 10 minutes away from Perth city. This makes it easy to travel to and from uni, especially if you live in a further suburb. To those who are thinking of studying in Curtin, I would suggest that you apply for student housing asap for your first year in Perth, as it makes a big difference in helping you adjust.

Hoo Hah!! UWA is COOLZ

Being in this university is awesome. First of all, i love the study atmosphere here. Its not that heavy, and yet not that light. Students study seriously yet you do have funny laughters and such in uni. Lectures are well prepared and the lecturers and tutors here are indeed helpful when you experience any study difficulties. Libraries here are well equipped with references and notes which makes doing tutorial projects not that hard at all. I love being here. XD

Life @ Monash

I really am loving University life overseas. New students should always look out for orientation programs and parties to attend and get involved, because that is the best time to meet new people.

Historical studying methods.

Generally speaking, studying at UWA has been somewhat enjoyable. To be studying in an environment that has an abundant supply of trees and historical buildings has given me alot of motivation to study because of its serenity. However, if you are planning to study commerce in UWA, I would suggest that you be certain that your command in mathematics is above average and that you prefer studying by the book, rather than applying your knowledge to real life situations.

Media Comm at Melbourne Uni

I am enjoying it very much. The most important advice I can think of is for the prospective student to be sure that this is a course they want to do and then to put everything they have into it because unlike high school, you're very much on your own at university and as this is an arts course, memorizing won't cut it. There needs to be initiative and drive to do research etc.
