The graduate degree from the Burren College of Art is not always recognized by U.S. employers or other U.S. academic institutions. I had my degree evaluated by The International Education Research Foundation and the results stated it was not a U.S. graduate equivalent. Also, The Burren College of Art in Ireland states that their graduate program is operated in association with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but when I contacted SAIC, the response was, "SAIC does have an Exchange agreement with the Burren for students at the Undergraduate level, but no agreement regarding graduate studies". Therefore SAIC cannot offer a degree equivalency. Beware of earning a graduate degree from this institution because it could be a drastic financial loss and waste of time if you plan on working/studying in the U.S. show less
