Overview

Dublin Business School (DBS) was founded in in 1975 as Accountancy and Business College and initially provided evening courses for students preparing for the examinations of the professional accounting bodies. The school’s subsequent success led to the expansion of its operations, to offer full and part-time accounting, marketing and banking courses. DBS specialises in the provision of career-focused education and its suite of programmes now include subjects in the areas of business, law, finance, computing, media, arts, psychology and social science. The school collaborates closely with industry and professional bodies to ensure quality and relevance of material, and employability of graduates, to enable them to have meaningful and impactful careers. DBS is also home to over 60 clubs and societies, ranging from those formed for sports and enterprise to those that take up academia and charity.
