Equator Academy of Art

Founded in 1987 as Ecuator Academy of Art, Equator College is now a recognised brand name as the leading art, media and design college in northern Malaysia. Equator College offers students well-structured programmes of study with up-to-date curricula as well as comprehensive training to be able to work in the art, media, and design industries. A faculty to student ratio of 1:20 ensures that lecturers are able to focus on the individual style of their students in order to encourage the best possible performance. Equator College has two campuses, in Leith Street and in Amoy Lane, both of which are situated in the heart of George Town, Penang. There are also numerous clubs and societies on campus, all of which are open to interested students who are willing to contribute to Equator’s vibrant social life.
