TAR UC offers world-class, comprehensive teaching and learning in a well-regulated and supported education system with the main objective of producing well rounded students. TAR UC offers its students a sprawling 186-acre Main Campus at Kuala Lumpur providing a vibrant campus lifestyle that is well-equipped with cutting-edge learning and research facilities.
A pleasant combination of modernity and nature, the flagship campus offers students lush greenery which is enhanced by pergola, gazebos, and landscaped parks, combined with state-of-the-art facilities which promote a unique and an inspiring learning experience.
Recreational facilities provided at the campus include a football field complete with a running track, a clubhouse, sports complex, an Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a hall with 2,000 seats.
The University College Sports Complex has a large hall with six badminton courts, three rooftop tennis courts, two volleyball courts, a netball court, a basketball court, multipurpose hall, dance room and gymnasium.
Other comprehensive resources that support learning and teaching are a three-storey library, tutorial rooms, lecture theatres, laboratories, workshops and the Communication and Information Technology Center that provides information and communication technology resources for teaching and learning purposes. There are also designated wireless internet access zones at strategic locations.
The Kuala Lumpur main campus also hosts three centers aimed at enriching academic learning of staff and students. There is also a TARC Incubator under the Center for Business Incubation and Entrepreneurial Ventures, which aims to accelerate the transformation of ideas to marketable innovations.
On-campus accommodation is available at the Kuala Lumpur Main Campus of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. The hostels consist of ten blocks of five-storey building with 1,000 rooms which can accommodate 2,000 students. Each room is provided on a twin-sharing basis and is equipped with study tables and chairs as well as wardrobes. Facilities available for students are air-conditioned study rooms with internet services, 24-hour security services, a convenience as well as a stationery shop, launderette, cafeteria, ATM, and water dispensers.
Off-campus accommodation comprises of condominium units strategically located about three kilometers away from the institution. TAR UC has a fleet of air-conditioned buses that provides scheduled bus services, transporting students to and from campus to the nearby off campus accommodation.
DISO operates as an on-campus helping all international students adapt and adjust to the environment at TAR UC so that they will have an enriching and positive student experience.
Student activities and organizations are important parts of a complete tertiary education and experience. International students are encouraged to participate in the numerous clubs, societies and activities available at TAR UC. Participation in these social and cultural activities helps to maximize the full potential of their tertiary experience in Malaysia. It is also one of the easiest ways for students to meet new friends.
The International Student Society is a platform created by TAR UC’s international students to serve as an avenue for social networking and cultural awareness. The society organize fun activities and educational events that promote friendship among students of all nationalities and celebrate cultural diversity.
