Yoobee School of Design is a Category One provider and is part of New Education Group, ACG Education’s vocational and higher learning division. With campuses in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, Yoobee is New Zealand’s largest specialised digital design school.

  • Diploma in Digital Design – Web and Graphic Design

This programme is designed to meet the latest industry demands and provides an excellent starting point for students looking to study further in the fields of Graphic Design & Web Development.

  • Diploma in Creative Digital Design

The Diploma in Creative Digital Design teaches students how to combine creative and digital skills to create work that is compelling, persuasive and powerful. They learn all about typography and layout, as well as how to capture and manipulate images They will gain an understanding of the conventional design process and how to use it to create great work including digital packaging, posters, magazines, brochures, ads and more.

Entry requirement

Students must be 17 or older, and need to provide evidence of skills and interests relevant to the course they want to take. If English isn’t their first language, they also have to meet the English language requirement as follows:

  • Certificate in Digital Design (iCreate) - IELTS 5.5 Academic (no subtests lower than 5.0) or equivalence
  • Diploma in Animation & Digital Video – IELTS 5.5 Academic (no subtests lower than 5.0) or equivalence
  • Other Diplomas (level 6 or 7) - IELTS 6.0 Academic (no subtests lower than 5.5) or equivalence
