The School of Music and Media at Bangor University offers students a vibrant, friendly, supportive and professional learning environment. The school specialises in a wide range of creative arts including, music, film, media and digital communication, performance studies, creative and media practice, game design and production, professional writing and journalism.

The school’s practice-based music teaching presents unique opportunities for student compositions to be performed, for interactions between live music and electronics, and for historically-informed performance arising from its musicological activity. In addition, there is an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, including orchestras, choirs, a brass band, a jazz band, a concert band, and opera and musical theatre groups.

It is just perfect

Amazing tutor and professors

Courses are interesting and professors especially my supervisor are so nice and helpful during my study. Psychology research is strong here and you have many choices for the topic you want for your dissertation.
Bangor is a beautiful town, the University is close to rail station so its quite convenient.
