Overview

Canterbury Christ Church University’s Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care comprises two schools, an institute and research centres, and is the affiliate home for the Kent and Medway Medical School within Canterbury Christ Church University.

It is home to a vibrant and dedicated group of staff who walk with students through every step of their academic or research journey. The faculty is engaged in delivering programmes of learning, innovation and research that enrich, educate and support the health and wellbeing of students, practitioners and communities, and prepare citizens for lives of consequence.

The curriculum content is research informed and delivered by scholarly and research engaged academics who are at the forefront of developing their subject and which promotes interprofessional and integrated practice.

Students benefit from excellent teaching and learning facilities such as fully-equipped simulation suites, award winning libraries at Canterbury and Medway campuses and integrated technology with ready-to-access content.
