Two awards, each valued at CAN $400, will be given annually to graduate students who are or who have been registered full time in the Department of English Language and Literature within the past calendar year. One award will be given to a Master's student and one award to a Doctoral student. Selection will be made, without the need for application, by a committee in the department based on the best Master's and Doctoral essays submitted in a course during the past academic year. Selection will be made annually in Winter term.
