Other eligibility requirements

Students who are admitted to the University of Waterloo with an early-May admission average of 95% or above will receive the following awards:

• one-time CAN $2,000 University of Waterloo President's Scholarship of Distinction
• the opportunity after your first year for a CAN $1,500 Research Award and a CAN $1,500 International Experience Award.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

• early May admission average, including required courses, must be 95% or higher for the program for which you’ve received and accepted an offer of admission
• admitted to a full-time, first-year degree program
• beginning post-secondary studies for the first time
• not applicable at Renison University College or St. Jerome's University, who offer their own scholarships
