Other eligibility requirements

The main purpose of the Awards is to support innovative graduate research in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Auckland. The Awards are intended to assist International graduate students and to foster international relationships. 

To be eligible for Award consideration, an applicant must i) be an international student (see Note II), ii) have been granted a visa allowing them to study in New Zealand for the duration of the Award, and iii) be enrolled full-time in either a Masters of Engineering (ME), a Masters of Operations Research (MOR) or a PhD degree in Engineering at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Selection criteria

The basis of selection will be academic potential, the quality and relevance of the proposed research and its likely contribution to the standing of research in the Faculty.
