Based in the spectacular city of Singapore, the PSB Academy is known as “The Future Academy”.
It offers an approach to education that is focused firmly on performance in the New Economy, hosting over 12,000 students from over 50 nationalities and offering certificate, diploma, degree and postgraduate study options.
In 2017, the PSB Academy was recognised by APAC Insider as the Education Institution of the Year, whilst also winning the SBR National Business Awards in the education category two years running in 2017 and 2018 as a result of its outstanding work in Singapore.
The expansion of the institution to a City Campus in the beautiful Marina Square in 2017 marked a major upgrade for the institution. The new 100,000 square foot campus represents a mission to give students a future-orientated and productivity-relevant education. The Delta Campus has also relocated in 2018, moving to a multi-million dollar, 50,000 square foot, lab-based facility at Jackson Square in Central Singapore. The developing facilities of the PSB Academy in a bustling, thriving city make it an exciting place for students to study and experience a new way of life.
In 2017, nearly 80% of students found employment within six months of graduating from the PSB Academy, whilst close to 70% of graduates found the skills and knowledge they acquired helped them to perform better in their work place.
With a tremendous global presence and partner institutions around the world, the PSB Academy is a developing hub of activity that is enjoying an exciting time thanks to significant investment and modern developments.
At the SBR Business Rankings Awards 2018, the PSB Academy School of Postgraduate Studies won the Provider of Largest MBA Programmes Award, owing to the number of partners and range of postgraduate options it has. The institution offers several postgraduate programmes from the University of Wollongong’s Sydney Business School and University of Newcastle in Australia, and from Nottingham University Business School, Hull University Business School, and Coventry University in the UK.
One of the academy’s achievements in the year 2018 was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Massey University, New Zealand. This MOU was signed as a result of the swiftly developing digital economy in an effort to launch postgraduate programmes in analytics to develop data-savvy managers.
The school also launched the Coventry University MBA in Global Business recently, to become the leading tertiary education provider that develops future talents with an international orientation. Students who register for the programme will be educated and trained in a wide range of subjects on business including marketing, managerial finance, and strategic management.
The PSB Academy maintains a comfortable learning environment and aims to provide the necessary academic assistance and support to help unlock the students' potential. The institution follows the international education guideline closely and maintains a well-balanced ratio of teachers and students to maximise the students' learning experience.
As one of Singapore’s premier private education institutions that has half-a-century’s heritage of nurturing industry-ready graduates, PSB Academy is committed to defining its identity as the Academy of the Future, owing to the support of its partners in industry and academia.
Its practice-based learning experience is strongly immersed in real-world experiences. This allows the diverse community of students to expect an environment of teaching, learning and networking which will develop them to become Future Makers who are active contributors to society.
The PSB Academy has a variety of programmes on offer for students, in a number of different schools.
The School of Foundation Studies provides programmes designed to help the young students start their academic journey. These programmes offer students with the knowledge and linguistic skills, interpersonal skills, and general competence to prepare them for their future education.
The School of Business and Management helps students hone their skills which are important in the workplace with several areas of studies including marketing, accounting, banking, human resource management, and supply chain management.
The specialisations offered at SET range from electrical and mechanical engineering, to cybersecurity and information technology, and others, catering to several key areas of interest in the engineering and technology industry.
The school offers programmes in a diverse range of areas including pharmaceutical, molecular, and biomedical science, as well as exercise and sport sciences. In addition to that, the school’s fully-equipped bespoke, university-standard laboratories help students have the required experience and practical skills to transition into positions in both postgraduate studies as well as the industry.
The school offers a conducive and inclusive environment where students can further develop their professional connections and management skill sets. It provides the students with industry exposure, and activities including guest lectures, industry visits, overseas study tours, as well as networking opportunities with alumni.
After meeting the admissions requirements for the necessary programme that students are interested in, they need to fill out an application form.

PSB Academy has a number of different partnerships around the world.
The institution is an international network of colleges which work with quality education partners and premier universities to offer the students transnational education opportunities.
Many of the institution’s students from more than 50 nationalities can now pursue a diploma in their own hometowns and advance to an undergraduate degree in Singapore. They can handle courses provided by globally-recognised certification providers like EC-Council, IMA, Barca Innovation Hub, as well as have the opportunity to study in the university partners' home campuses in countries like the UK and Australia.
Students learn the networking skills and cultural fluency from life on the campus and stand out as graduates who are truly global. With industry talks, trips abroad, and even reunions of the alumni across the region held every year, an education at the academy will broaden their perspectives, and also inspire them to kick off their careers in another country.
On top of the academy’s well-established teaching methods which are developed in consultation with its leading university partners, the institution aims to stay relevant by maintaining close consultation with its network of industry partners as well. This is why each of the schools has Academic Advisory Panels, with veteran professionals who keep the programmes current, so that the students are trained in the skills which are high in demand.
PSB Academy also hosts CollabX, which is a multi-series event created as a platform for developing opportunities through sharing, learning, and networking. Open to the public, this series of talks is accessible to both the current students and alumni. This aims to provide an exposure to them about the future of the jobs which they are headed for, as well as focus on vital talents and skills they will require to hone as they advance in their careers.
PSB Academy provides a host of resources, career fairs and workshops during their time with the academy to get them prepared for their first job or even talk about their next promotion.
In the year 2017, nearly 8 in 10 graduates were found to be in employment within a span of six months after graduation. Also, roughly 7 in 10 graduates stated that the knowledge and skills they acquired at the institution enabled them to perform better at work, according to GES 2017.

As a final year University of Wollongong undergraduate student in PSB Academy, I can fully say that I do not, or very little, regret having enlisted in this institution. The admission process was rather smooth and fast, the classes are neither too tough nor too easy, and the campus itself is quite lively despite its small size and the unfriendly portion of the school staff. I'd happily recommend PSB Academy to anyone seeking for a fully diversified and not too stressful university experience. But, do not expect to find the best of the best lecturers, curriculum or the use of a perfectly correct english there!+ Read more - Show less
