Chalmers is unique

Having been in Chalmers for more than one tear, I feel impressed by the learning environment. In lecture classes, the teaching styles are very creative and open-minded. There are often projects requiring interaction between students from different background. I also like the study visits in the industrial sectors which are very practical in career. In overall, this university offers a high quality of education and really prepare students for the upcoming trend in career.

Words of a student in the Management and Economics of Innovation Program

Overall, it has an outstanding education quality. The way you are learning the topics is extremely unique most of the time and up-to-date. The university provides a good balance between social life and studies due to its max. amount of courses per study period which is two. So, at a time you have only two courses to think about. Classrooms are also fine for education and in the campus, you can easily find an area to study any time.

The Avancez life

Chalmers is a university that has students and the student life as their first priority and it shows. During my time here at Chalmers I've found the Campus to be one of the most hospitable places. The freedom students have here is exactly what we need in terms of a supporting environment to grow! The faculty and the facilities are definitely top notch and striving to get better each day. The University is open to student opinions regarding all aspects of student life on campus. I would definitely recommend Chalmers to every and any interested prospective student. :)

Degree at Chalmers is an entrance ticket to nordic job market

Chalmers is a technology university full of opportunities. The curriculum is industry-oriented with various projects with corporates. For example, I got a chance to join an international project group in cooperation between Engineers Without Borders and Norconsult. Additionally, Chalmers is characterized as innovation and sustainability in terms of facility and teaching. Really recommend to those who are ambitious to start a career in Sweden!

A Fulfilling Experience

I always knew I would want to do my Master's studies abroad but the university and location were never fixed. Choosing Chalmers for my advanced education has been a choice that I am extremely glad about even though I was uncertain about it at first. The campus is large and is host to a number of facilities. The professors and staff are extremely helpful. The student life is amazing.

All in all, an amazing time. And one that I would have no reservations with recommending.

Chalmers has become my second identity

After my bachelor I certainly had no plan for higher education. But spending two years in the job, I started to feel the gaps in my knowledge. Another thing that I was concerned about was sustainable practice in construction industry, something that is hardly incorporated with construction in my country. So I started looking for programs online. When I saw this one at Chalmers, it caught my attention instantaneously since this program had a well balance of courses from building technology too, something that I had little knowledge of. So I looked no further and applied here. The admission process was very smooth and straightforward. The facilities at the university and student life in the city is absolutely fascinating. Chalmers is the place where I learnt to voice my opinion and could see it taking into effect. The courses are well designed and well integrated with industries. There were constant visit from industry leaders in the class and courses were based on projects where we had to solve real life problems. Sleepless nights with my classmates or long conversations about life with students from different culture and country are memories that I will carry with me everywhere. And thus before I knew anything, Chalmers became my second identity.

A Great Place to Kickstart My Career in the International Context

Chalmers claims itself as a university with the major focus of sustainability and I can confirm that Chalmers is way beyond my expectations. The education is excellent, the facilities are advanced and well-equipped, the teachers are highly knowledgable and helpful, and the environment is very international and friendly. I just graduated from Chalmers in the Master's Programme of Architecture and Planning Beyond Sustainability, and it has been a great honor to me to be a part of such a creative school! I love that innovation and freedom to create is embraced here. The teaching methods are varied, but mostly they are project-based learning. Therefore, I gained the professional skills to work in a team, in real projects and propose real solutions during my studies. Chalmers also helped me a lot to prepare myself with the skills needed for my career internationally. I am extremely thankful to be here.

An enriching experience!

The university is substantially focussed towards the industry and the research is based more towards applied sciences and sustainability. The thing that I really liked about the university is that the location is very central to the city and there is amazing connectivity. The lectures taught to us are quite up to date and the quality of education is high. The university has a great number of student clubs and as a student, there are events happening daily, which are both related to your studies or just hanging out with friends.
I was always focused towards such a course where I could gain experience in the field of applied materials. And, I have been happy to have some hands on experience with composites manufacturing and additive manufacturing here, which has been "spot on" based on the experiences I was looking for. I am looking forward to study more, maybe start a PhD soon, and Chalmers would still be one of my first choices.

Chalmers has exceeded my expectations

I was not certain at the end of my Bachelor's studies that I wanted to pursue further education, but I thought a moving to a new a country and learning from a different perspective might be worthwhile. I appreciate that there are international students from so many different parts of the world here at Chalmers that I'm learning about perspectives and cultures beyond just Swedish or European ones. The large amount of group and partner work in our courses also promotes this cultural exchange as well as deepening our understanding of the course material.

I was not expecting to have so many potential employers come to campus or invite us to their offices to present their work to our class. We had multiple afterwork events with employers presenting Master's thesis topics or available job positions.

The Swedish admissions process was different than what I was accustomed to in the US and my transcript got lost in the mail. However, after reaching out to the Master's program coordinator I was able to successfully complete the application.
