No funding support available for international students
Falmouth is amazing, but I do wish they had more support available for international students.

They provide you everything, if you are interested enough, there's nothing you can't do.
The system is generally stricter than the other universities in Europe. But you have almost everything in Falmouth University. All you have to do is just using this opportunities.

Ideal location for a university.
I was an Erasmus student for 5 months and i think Falmouth is such an ideal location for a university. Nature and calmness around the town along with sufficient campus facilities make me think like this. Even though some of the courses fall short of your needs, you can satisfy yourselves by exploring Cornwall.

Falmouth University- Best place around
Best advice? I'd say study the course you are doing, what the classes are and what sort of 'balance' you will get out of it. Is it more about coursework or exams? Are you getting practical skills or learning facts and dates? Not to berate one or the other, just making the point that it is important to know what your degree is doing for you. If you don't like it or are not sure, look around, ask around with your subject tutors and see what it is you are interested, or what each course will entail. The chances are you won't be 100% confident in your course selection, so feel free to talk to your professors about it. It's good to know you've got someone you can ask about your degree. Falmouth has always made me feel supported and encouraged to study what I'm interested in, and has an excellent range of subjects to study. Work hard, and enjoy life-success can always be reached ;)

This university of suit students who are interested in Children illustration or more main stream illustration.
I am really enjoying my time here mostly. The only thing that i'm not happy with is recently I'm disappointed with the quality of tutor on my last year at university because they are not experienced with international students who want to work in the UK after graduate. I think It's not the course itself, but there needs to be a variety of tutors not just for Children books, editorial etc. Everything else is pretty good.

very good experience!
very welcoming university and place - nice introduction week - great communication, assistance, guidance and support - inspiring lectures and (guest) tutors - amazing facilities - value for the money i paid (€1000) though not for the money the UK students pay.

American Girl in a UK World
If any person is wanting to grab life by the horns and go, then studying aboard is the best thing for you. It opens your mind and eyes to world that is full of culture and diversity. For me personally, it was a bit of an adjustment coming from America to the UK, but the moment I was able to get a hold on things and realize the beautiful possibilities that can be taking from this experience, everything fell into place and was alright.

Amazing university, but clear your finances first.
Falmouth University is an incredible place to study! I would recommend this university to anyone without hesitation. One thing to keep in mind though is the funding, make sure you've got that sorted out before coming here. I didn't so I've been struggling on my own. There are of course funding available from the university, but nothing that I've been eligible for, which is why I've downrated that. It's also been difficult for me to find a job which is why I downrated that too. But if you can manage the finanical part and ideally having SFE paying your tuition fee there is nothing to worry about. The university is amazing, the staff and campus is amazing, the town and surrounding areas in Cornwall is amazing.

Falifornia is the perfect place to study!
I am loving life in Falmouth. It is a quiet little town and allows me to concentrate on my studies. The faculty and staff are great and the facilities for fashion and PSD are very good. Technicians are always super helpful when it comes to actual garment construction. I would not hesitate to recommend Falmouth to anyone!

Falmouth University - definitely a top school for the arts!
The facilities at Falmouth are on a par, if not higher, with the professional world. By studying here I feel I have really been able to develop my skills and knowledge of photography, I feel this is the same about any course undertaken by a student at Falmouth University, regardless of their subject choice. It is important when making the decision at which university to study at that you find out if it will be the right one for you and your needs.
