Awesome college experience!

I am in my second year at Iona College and I'm currently in the cross country and track team.
Since i arrived in August 2013 i have been loving every day.

Since i'm an international student coming to a small school has been an beneficial decision for me. I've been able to do everything a big college has to offer and been able to make close friends. I especially enjoy the classes i take. Since there are never more than 40 people in class you get the best learning experience. Being able to listen to everything without a hassle, asking questions and most importantly getting on a name to name basis with my teachers has really helped me with my study's.

Their are many great things about the school like the new facilities, professors, food options and residential halls. One awesome option Iona offers is the close proximity to the New Rochelle train station which can get you straight into the city in 25 minutes.

I feel lucky to be able to enjoy all aspects of college, plus the big city experience which is just a few train stops away!

Iona is amazing but it needs to work on international students with interships and jobs

Everyone is really helpful, even when someone doesn't know how to help you they will guide you to someone else that does.

Great Experience at Iona College

Iona College has been so welcome and received all the credits from my University in Colombia. The professors and all the staff are really helpful in the process of adjusting to a new culture. It is a recognized school and it cares no only about academic development, but also about personal development and leadership. For those interested about community services , the school has also great opportunities to serve local and international community. The school also counts with an international center so committed with the experience of international students.

It is what you make of it

I really like it here. It really is what you make of it. If you get involved and meet new people then you will have fun. If you don't make an effort, you won't.

Time Flies In Iona

This is a small college, however, there are plenty of activities at school. Take events if you can.

Iona has been a great experience for me. Assistance with funding was of great help and my course of study was really manageable.

Experience

It has been great so far. I would suggest to get involved as much as possible with clubs and events. Is always good to keep yourself busy, plus it opens a range of new opportunities as you meet new people.
