Challenging

One of the advice I would give to new students is this : get to know as many people as you can. Go on networking events. Join clubs and societies. Volunteer. You will need them later on in life. Go meet new people, they won't bite I promise :)

NUS life

I enjoy learning in NUS as I can make friends with a lot of people from different background. This experience benefits me a lot and I believe that it will be very useful in my future workplace as I must communicate with people. I would advice those people who thinking of studying in NUS must enjoy their university life but not put all the time into studying.

No Use Studying (NUS)

I would say NUS life is rather stressful but you will gain global exposure through overseas exchange programmes such as NUS Overseas College (NOC), Student Exchange Programme (SEP), Summer College, overseas internships, etc. Be involved in CCAs, take up leadership role and be prepared for busy school life!!

Review on NUS

My experience has always been filled with pressure and stress, especially during the examination period. My advice to future students is to be prepared to put in a lot of hard work.

My college experience has a lot of ups and downs. if you want to come to NUS, you must be able to handle stress and have a lot of discipline.

Lab Overload in NUS

My university experience has been rather stressful especially for my final year where I have to do a lot of laboratory work. People coming to NUS to study science should be prepared to spend a lot of hours in the lab.

My university experience has been quite enjoyable. There are a lot of projects and tests so anybody coming must be willing to study and work.

NUS gives a very well rounded education, exposing its student to a whole range of modules, allowing them to be well informed in areas that are of their interest. My advice to future students would be to come with an open mind, and a learning heart

The important thing is to come to a university with an open mind and be willing to learn from the start. The things that we learnt in secondary and high school were quite irrelevant to business modules that you will learn in university.
