Glad that I was able to be a Pittstate MBA student
I was a student at Pittstate for my MBA program. It was a very exciting experience as an international student. The faculty was knowledgeable and supportive. The student community and the international office was very welcoming. I would recommend this university to anyone who wants to obtain their degree in a relaxed and innovative environment. Good Investment!
The period when I pursued my MBA degree at PSU, was a wonderful memory that I won't forget in my life. I was able to be developed and inspired by professors. Life in Pittsburgh, KS was unforgettable because it's a small town, which was quite enough for me to concentrate on my studies and enjoy my life at the same time. When people talk about work-life balance, the concept fits here. You will able to study well and live well.

Best 4 years of my life
I attended PSU from 1996 to 2000. The support provided by the international students' office and the professors were positive and this was conducive to learning. I felt comfortable speaking with professors and felt they were invested in my academic goals. I also have fond memories of on campus social activities. Off campus, Pittsburg residents were warm and welcoming. I recommend Pittsburg State if you are looking for an institution and city that feels like a home away from home. 😀 Adaeze Emeh Class of 2000

Simply The Best
I am from Singapore. I currently live in Ontario, Canada. My whole family including my 3 sisters, my 2 brother-in-laws and I attended PSU in the mid 1990s to early 2000s. The four years I spent at PSU were the best years of my life. The professors and staff at PSU greatly influenced and impacted my life, words can't describe the gratitude I feel for all the support and kindness they showed me and my family while we attended PSU. The professors are top notch professionals in their respective fields and their doors were always open to us if we needed any help or support. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The friends I made at PSU are still my friends today. In fact, my whole family and I just visited PSU last year and also connected with our friends who still live in Kansas. I would highly recommend PSU to anyone who is looking to do their undergraduate or graduate studies, you will definitely be getting, not only a world class education, but also a network of friends for life.

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE
I came from Nigeria to get my MBA at the Kelce College of Business. While the culture shock was real, my overall experience was phenomenal. I love PSU! I learned a lot out there, not just with academics. I made the best friends who have become family to me. The faculty staff were amazing in their ability to push you to limits you didn't even know you were capable of. The care and love extended to international students by the entire Pittsburg community is one of the major things I hold dear in my heart to date. It's an experience I will never forget because it marked me and made me better.

I would do it all over again
I was an international student from Brazil at PSU where I spent three years studying Communications and graduated in 2003. Quite often I tell my friends and work colleagues about my experience during those years and how much it has helped me be where I am today. I worked on campus, lived on campus (dorms), was a student ambassador back then with the International Office, spent countless hours at the library and the computer labs. Basically spent all my time on campus. I simply loved it! Pittsburg is the perfect place to fully immerse yourself not only in your studies, but also feel part of the community. The International Office was the best in providing support anytime I needed assistance or simply if I felt I needed to drop by for a chat. The campus and surrounding areas are beautiful and I loved spending time by the lake. I also loved the football and basketball season, the clubs, and the many activities Pittstate offered throughout the year. I made plenty of friends, some who I am still in touch even though I live in Australia these days. PSU is one of my best memories and graduating from it is one of my proudest life achievements. I hope to one day, bring my daughter and husband to visit the campus to see the place I called home during what was one of the best times of my life. I will forever treasure the time I spent there.

Small town atmosphere/great place to study
I went to Independence Community College for two years. When it was time to transfer to a four year university, Pittsburg was the right place with small classes, affordable tuition, and most importantly, approachable teachers who truly care about the lives and success of their students.

An amazing cultural experience
I was nervous coming into PSU not knowing anyone and adjusting to the ways of studying in a foreign country but my stay exceeded all my expectations! I met so many amazing people from different countries that I know I'll stay in touch with for the rest of my life. Academically the courses I took were interesting and I liked the wide variety you could choose from. There were so many interesting events happening around campus that I did not even have the time to attend everything I wanted to! Even though my stay was cut short due to the Coronavirus situation, I definitely enjoyed my experience and would recommend PSU to anyone who is interested in becoming a part of this amazing community.

Excellent programs
I came to Pittstate in 2017 as an exchange student, stayed for a year studying engineering, then I went back to Brazil to finish my studies. I came back to Pittstate in 2019 for my masters in Engineering Technology. The academic environment is excellent. The classrooms are not crowded, which gives the chance for a closer relationship between professor and student. Back when I was an exchange student, I got an internship due to the partnership of Pittstate and a company in Kansas City. During my masters, I was offered another internship a year in advance because of the company trust in Pittstate.
