a brief introduction to university

The learning experience is great with lots of interaction in law classes. There is also a lot of emphasis on understanding and application of concepts and rules. Do not be afraid to venture beyond your comfort zone and get to know the locals.

The campus is centrally located and traveling to and from the university is convenient. The student life is alright not much thing happening to talk about, the people are friendly generally. If you haven’t got enough friends then life can be boring as everyone is occupied with themselves. I would advice before you join a college make sure that you know about the education standard and the students as you will be spending a long time there.

I like the teaching facilities in here. SMU being in the hear of the city is quite convenient too. As a result of that we have a variety of food in campus or off campus. Lot of places to go for shopping too as many shopping centers are here. The teaching styles followed is American.

At Singapore management university, learning is just not restricted to studying. There are various companies that eye the fresh graduates from this university for employment. This university has very good links. As an advice, I would have to point out to the fact that there will be too many assignments/projects so be prepared beforehand and don’t be lazy.

A Frank Review of SMU.

The seminar style pedagogy is perfect for a person like me who likes to speak his mind and air his views. It helps us to be focused and diligent in our work. My advice to future students would be: 'Be prepared when you step into class. Do not risk feeling like a fool in class.'

SMU 101

The experience is pretty good so far. The location is good, people are generally friendly and helpful, but the level of competition among students is very high. Anyone thinking of coming to SMU would have to be able to handle high number of presentations, stress and must have the ability to speak out in class.
