Definitely an experience of a lifetime

I have been enjoying my University experience so much thus far. The course is interesting and very intellectually stimulating and the lecturers and tutors are supportive. The city is lovely as well and there is always something to do, be it with a society or just on your own.

The most important advice I would give someone thinking of studying at the University of Bristol is to make sure they have researched the course they wish to apply for thoroughly and if possible, to visit the city and campus during one of the Open Days.

Uni life

Studying law at undergraduate and postgraduate is very tough. I made really really good friends from all parts of the world with whom I am still in contact. One gains more maturity, independence and responsibility at that stage.

Undergraduate life still remains the most gratifying one. however, because you have no parents to boss you around or manage your finance, this is the ideal opportunity to prove to yourself and your parents that you have grown up and is now a fully responsible adult.

Advice; strike a right balance between studying and social life. university life will remains the best part of your life, so make the most of it. make friends from other cultures as well.

The University that makes you aware

Courses are well structured and professors qualified. It is easy to study when you know what to do and how to do it. I really enjoyed the fact that studying is not something mechanical, but you are pushed to think and grow your own ideas and opinions on what you are studying.
I would recommend to those thinking of studying at my university to take it seriously in order to succeed in what they are doing and treasure what they learn.

Perfect Mix of the Exciting and the Traditional

I am really enjoying the University experience - Bristol strikes the right balance between what a city University has to offer - close to the centre and Bristolian life, good night life - and what the more 'rural' Universities have - with all campuses an student accommodation close to the University. The course structure and units offered by the law department reflect the fact that it is a highly traditional university. Advice to be given to someone considering studying here: be prepared to tackle hills every time you need to step out of the house! Also - be prepared to work hard - the course is very demanding.

Studying at the University of Bristol

The chance to meet all kinds of people and to interact with them is great. This applies both to academic life and social life.
Be sure to make full use of the opportunities the university provides: library hours, careers service, internships...

A short review of the best things in University of Bristol

University of Bristol has a rather posh setting, which is balanced only by the level of education and advice they provide here. The student center, which offers advice on careers and hold various events regularly, which are very helpful. I would advice students to take full advantage of the chances offered by the university.
