University of Technology Sydney (UTS) cannot really compare with University of New South Wales and University of Sydney in terms of level of academic and international reputation. However, UTS has large amount of practical classes and workshops that gives you many real training in the field that you are studying. You will be writing less essays and academic articles comparing with usual universities, and more real touch on what you will need after graduating university into the workplace.

I would definitely recommend the university to people who are trying to find an education institution that gives you many useful experience that you will need for work, and hoping to study less pure academic classes.

UTS has been an adventure like nothing else I have experienced. I have met many intelligent people, and I have been challenged far beyond my own expectations. The school is a blooming playground for education, and I have acquired both friends and knowledge for life. The quality of the lectures and tutorials is well-rounded, as it supplies you with industry-related tools and theory. During my undergraduate degree, I have gained a rich set of skills within Games Development that are useful in the world of IT. UTS is a solid choice if you wish to broaden your horizon.

UTS is located in the city center of Sydney, and it is near the train station and China Town which is convenient for living and traveling. The landscape here is splendid. The IELTS requirement I'd overall band score 6.5, the course setting here is flexible, students can choose courses they are interested in. Accommodation here is also good and easy to find. There are a lot of international students here. The employ rate of the graduate is high and the job prospect is good.

Being an international student, one of the hardest things is to put everything in writing in a form that is required. As English is not my first language, I’ve used UTS:HELPS as I’ve needed a lot of help putting my ideas down, proof reading and making sure the grammar is correct.
