UWA Review

Spending a year at the University of Western Australia (UWA) was a right decision. I have learnt different cultures in UWA because I made a lot of new friends of different nationalities there. Also, the teachers have given a lot of precious suggestions to my studies as well as career. I also liked the environment around UWA as everyone seemed friendly and willing to help when I needed any. I also loved the campus as it was so green and big and full of sports facilities.

Engineering Feedback

The reason why I choose UWA over other western australian universities was due to its reputation and the fact that UWA has been recently admitted as one of the best 100 universities in the world. As I am planning to major in mechanical/petroleum engineering having a degree which is recognised overseas would be an essential to increase my chances of having a well developed career. UWA structured its engineering degree in a very broad way which allowed to students to choose their path carefully - something I like as I will end up being in this field for the rest of my life. In terms of other things, UWA's campus is rather big and very green. There are several events that are organised to keep the students entertained and the sports program is strong!

UWA REVIEW

The University of Western Australia (UWA for short) is an excellent University to explore yourself and your capabilities. It offers a range of groups and clubs in different areas, which are accompanied with lots of people who have the same passions and interests as you. I am also really enjoying my course as I believe that the lecturers, tutors and teaching staff look after the students. If I were to asked to recommend or not recommend UWA I wouldn’t think twice before saying yes.

Review of UWA

As an international student who is completely new to Perth and the uni, you will find no difficulty at all because UWA is preparing the orientation package in an excellent consideration. You'll have people showing you around, staffs whom you can trust and ask anything about. But the most important thing is, people are friendly here. They are raised with the culture to help each other. In the first week of university, especially, we tend to be lost as the university's size is pretty big. Yet, you can see some helpers, understanding this condition and patiently helps you out. The warmth of people around you definitely make you think that you have chosen the right university.

University Review

The University of Western Australia is a university which focuses more on theoretical aspects; it is a fantastic idea to enroll at the UWA if one is aiming to proceed to a further study (i.e. Master and PhD). It encourages ones to think in an academic way, to criticize and to get to know the world in depth. In a cliché expression to sum up the experience in here is that it tends to tell you how to think instead of what to think. Therefore it would be the best choice for thinkers.

Uni Review

The reason why I recommend other students not to come to the university of western Australia (UWA) is that the tutor is not that responsible. All they do is to give us the answer rather than the understanding. Moreover, the frequency of classes is low. I only get 3 hours classes for a unit. This may be insufficient teaching time which results in inadequate knowledge.

UWA Review

UWA is a very good university that is now recognised worldwide as one of the best 100 universities in the world. I have found it very good in terms of my engineering degree as during my first two years of study I was given the ability to do science and figure out what I liked and disliked and after that choose my major. The lectures are very helpful even if I don't like how difficult it is to find help outside the hours of leaning assigned by our timetable. I like the fact that all lectures are online which gives a student more flexibility and ability to, for example, work while studying.

Very well. Come with an open mind, and participate actively as your time permits.
