Overview

Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) is located in the historic and unique city of Lincoln with its huge amounts of Roman, Medieval, Victorian, wartime and modern history found all over. BGU has been educating students for close to 160 years and is firm in its continuing commitment to help students become highly employable graduates. BGU offers courses at all levels, ranging from undergraduate to PhD, with an ever-expanding undergraduate portfolio and its traditional PGCE teacher training routes. BGU’s courses help prepare students for life in the workplace through placements in settings relevant to their field and one-to-one guidance offered within the university, in addition to on-campus activities and work experience. Smaller class sizes allow for a more personalised learning experience. BGU also has excellent facilities on offer, among them the world-class archaeology lab and the business hub.
