Coventry University is made up of four faculties:
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities
Coventry University has a rich heritage of developing talented artists and designers. As the oldest part of Coventry University, the faculty now boasts specialist resources and state-of-the-art technology, recognizing changes in the arts and preparing students to become talented professionals. The faculty includes the School of Art and Design, the School of Humanities and the School of Media and Performing Arts.
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing
The faculty includes the School of Computing, Electronics & Mathematics, the School of Energy, Construction & Environment and the School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Automotive Engineering. This faculty has the inspirational GBP 50 million state of the art Engineering and Computing building and incorporates many varying facilities including wind tunnels, flight simulators and a harrier jump jet.
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
The faculty consists of the School of Life Sciences, the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences and the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. Students have access to a number of facilities including hospital simulation, laboratories and exercise environments within the multi-million-pound Alison Gingell building which opened in 2018. The faculty has an excellent reputation for graduate outcomes.
Faculty of Business and Law
Made up of the Coventry Business School and Coventry Law School, the faculty offers a number of specialisations. Coventry Business School specialises in Economics, Finance and Accounting, Marketing and Management, and Strategy and Leadership, offering a range of research and academic programmes alongside industry experience. Coventry Law School’s specialisations include International Law and Oil, and Gas and Energy Law. Students have access to the Moot room, to practice in a realistic, modern courtroom during their studies.
