There are three entry dates for LBIC programmes: January, May and September. High-quality teaching is supportive and personalised, where academic staff understand the needs of international students. The campus provides an empowering and safe environment where students are in control of designing their own futures.

They can also take advantage of living in Uxbridge, which is just a stone’s throw away from England’s bustling capital. London has countless activities for all to enjoy, and was named the best city in the world for students by the QS Best Student Cities ranking in 2018.

What's new

What's new

LBIC has launched three new pathway courses in:

  • Foundation in Design
  • First Year in Accounting
  • Foundation in Life Sciences

Pre-Sessional English course at Brunel

Students who are unable to meet the English language requirements for their chosen LBIC programme, can apply for entry onto a pre-sessional English course at Brunel University London. Courses help students to vastly improve their English language skills. After successful completion, they will gain direct entry to an academic programme with LBIC.

Courses last for six to 48 weeks, depending on the ability of the student. An UKVI IELTS score of at least 4.0 is required for entry onto a course.

Courses are run by the Brunel Language Centre, which was established in 2005. It is accredited by the British Council and has had ‘Centre of Excellence’ status since 2012.

Classes have a maximum number of 14 students, so each individual will be able to receive the personal support they need. The centre has an average pass rate of more than 96%, meaning that students will be well-equipped for a successful experience at LBIC.

Teaching quality

Teaching quality

LBIC offers a high-quality education from academic experts who provide individual and tailored support. Classes are small in size, and all staff work hard to ensure students are empowered to reach their full potential. Support is available every step of the way, and classes are enhanced by modern equipment and top facilities.

Teaching at LBIC is designed so students are exposed to a range of different cultures, ideas, and new ways of approaching topics. Academics show students how to relate what they learnt, to real-world issues, so that they are ready to make a positive difference to society after studying.

Brunel University London ranks within the top 50 universities in England for the level of research funding it receives. It’s also one of Innovate UK’s top Collaborative Research and Development partners.
