Overview
The pathway programmes at Northumbria University are specifically designed to support international students in developing their academic and English language skills, who are ready for undergraduate and postgraduate study at the university. With different subject area specialisms to choose from, each pathway programme introduces international students to UK academic, and university, culture. Northumbria University’s pathway programmes are run in partnership with QA Higher Education – a UK higher education provider. Students are taught by staff who are used to supporting international students through this transition. 94.7% of Northumbria University graduates were found to be in work or further study 6 months after graduation, and the university is ranked 9th in the UK for the number of graduates in professional employment.
