Plymouth University is one of the largest universities in the UK, with an educational history dating back to 1862. The University has an international reputation for excellence in teaching, high-quality research and flexible learning opportunities.

With almost 30,000 students studying at Plymouth’s campuses, the University is consistently ranked as one of the top modern universities in the UK, currently at number 5 (Times Higher Education 2016). It has around 3,000 staff. It has built an excellent reputation for acting as an ‘anchor institution’ in the region, and a catalyst for innovation and enterprising and entrepreneurial behaviours.  The University maintains strong links with the industry and the corporate sector delivering enterprise solutions. Students can choose from a broad portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas such as science and technology, IT, Business Management, Medicine, Dentistry, Health and Social Care.
