There are many reasons why University of Greenwich International College (UGIC) is an excellent place to study.
UGIC is an embedded college, with an outstanding location on the main University of Greenwich campus in London. It offers students an exciting range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on a beautiful campus, just 15 minutes from Central London by train.
For international students, only one visa is required for entire duration of study, plus a direct response is given within 24 hours of receiving an application. Students enjoy full university status with access to all facilities and services from day one, with a simple path to continue on to University of Greenwich degrees following successful completion of the programme.
International Incorporated Bachelors and International Incorporated Masters are available, as well as English language support throughout the period of study. Students can live on campus alongside UK and international students with the benefit of dedicated support from the student services team.
Taught at the University of Greenwich International College, students who complete this year progress to studying the remainder of the International Incorporated Bachelors at the University of Greenwich. Students can select from computing, business and management, science, engineering, and social sciences and law.
IY1 is a combination of first year modules and supplementary English language skills. Students who complete the year progress to the next phase of the three-year International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB) degree at the University of Greenwich.
The International Incorporated Masters (IIM) programme is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge needed for the completion of postgraduate study at the University of Greenwich. Attention is given to English language skills and business-related subject knowledge. The programme is structured for students who do not qualify for automatic entry to master’s programmes.
Pre-sessional English courses are available, with both a six-week and 12-week option offered. The courses are designed for students who don’t meet the minimum IELTS requirements for their chosen programme of study. The six-week course is for students with an IELTS score of 5.0 (with no skills below 4.5) while the 12-week course is for students with an IELTS score of 4.5 (with no skills below 4.0). Students can undertake the courses prior to the commencement of their International Incorporated Bachelors or International Incorporated Masters.
Students will need to complete an application form and get in touch with UGIC. The application will need to include copies of all relevant academic transcripts and certificates of English language qualifications.

While studying at University of Greenwich International College, students will have many locations to choose from both on and off campus in the vibrant and multicultural city of London. It is essential that students contact their local representative for more information at the time of application. UGIC staff are available to support students in finding accommodation including off-campus options. Halls of residence options are subject to availability, but do provide a great way to meet and interact with other students at the university. Further, the halls are well equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, en suite rooms as well as residential support.

Nearly 750 art galleries and museums are based in London, from large galleries such as the National Gallery, Tate Modern and Science Museum, to small, specialist studios and exhibitions like the Photographer's Gallery near Leicester Square or the Theatre Museum in Covent Garden.
Classical, Opera and Ballet stars both national and international perform at huge concert halls around London such as Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre, Royal Opera House and Albert Hall.
A thriving and diverse theatre scene sees major musicals and plays running across the West End, as well as independent productions in local theatres. Greenwich also has numerous cinemas - including the Greenwich Picture House and huge multiplex venue at The O2.
Oxford Street is known for its huge number of chain stores, whilst Covent Garden offers upmarket shops and open-air stalls, contributing to a city in which students will find shops to cater for every taste and budget.
London provides an unparalleled opportunity to watch sports, with major international matches in most sports taking place in the capital throughout the year and a number of Premier League football teams. Charlton Athletics’ football ground is particularly close to the Greenwich and Avery Hill campuses.
