University of Salford

Overview

The University of Salford is located minutes from the vibrant, multi-cultural Manchester city centre. In 1967, the University of Salford was handed the Royal Charter and officially became a university. Industry is at the heart of all teaching at the University of Salford and throughout each course there are opportunities to engage with the industry through internships, placements, live projects or briefs and guest speakers. Salford is organised into four schools which cover a wide range of subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including business, arts, media, creative technology, science, engineering, environment, health and society studies. There are also several pathways onto the courses including the International Foundation Year.

Scholarships

Salford International Excellence Award

This award will be judged by our scholarship committee and £5,000 will be awarded to ten successful applicants. This scholarship is available to undergraduate students only.

Global Gold Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is worth £3,500 for undergraduate applicants and £3,000 for postgraduate applicants. The scholarship will automatically be deducted from any successful applicant’s tuition fees.

Global Silver Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is worth £3,000 for undergraduate applicants and £2,500 for postgraduate applicants. The scholarship will automatically be deducted from any successful applicant’s tuition fees.
