The college is the largest college in the District and has an impressive track record since its inception in 1868. Currently, the college has campuses at Wakefield City, including the University Centre, and at Castleford. Wakefield College works in collaboration with schools and learning providers to transform achievement and progression students. Wakefield College welcomes more than 8,000 students annually, of all ages and abilities, to a wide range of courses, from pre-entry level to higher education and other professional qualifications.
