Overview

Benedictine University was founded in 1887 in Chicago as St. Procopius College. It attained the university status in 1996.In response to community needs graduate, doctorate and adult learner programs were added. Undergraduate and graduate academic programs at Benedictine University are housed in the College of Business, the College of Education and Health Services, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and the Margaret and Harold Moser College of Adult and Professional Studies.
