Black Hills State University, located in Spearfish, South Dakota, was established in 1883. Black Hills is a public university which offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. The University offers more than 80 majors and minors for bachelors degrees as well as 3 masters degrees and a number of associate degrees and pre-professional programs. The study programs of the university are spanned across the College of Arts and Science, College of Business and Technology and College of Education.
