Buffalo State was established in 1871 and joined the State University of New York system in 1948. Buffalo State College is located in Buffalo, New York. Buffalo State offers 130 undergraduate and more than 60 graduate programs in the arts, sciences and education which are spanned across the School of Arts and Humanities, School of Education, School of Natural and Social Sciences, School of the Professions, the University College and the Graduate School.
