California University of Pennsylvania was founded in 1852 as a comprehensive regional institution of higher education offering programs in the fields of Liberal Arts, Science and Technology, and Professional Studies. The University is located in Borough of California. It consists of the following colleges: the College of Education and Human Services, the College of Liberal Arts, the Eberly College of Science and Technology, the School of Graduate Studies and Research and the Institute of Law and Public Policy. The university awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
