Clark Atlanta University was created in 1988 when the boards of Clark College and Atlanta University decided to consolidate the two institutions. The University is a private institution located in Atlanta, Georgia. Clark Atlanta University offers undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees as well as certificate programs through the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education and School of Social Work. In Fall 2008, the University had a student headcount of 4068.
