Colorado State University is a publicly-funded institution in Fort Collins, Colorado. The University was founded as the Colorado Agricultural College in 1870. The University offers bachelors, masters, doctoral and professional degrees through the College of Agricultural Sciences, College of Applied Human Sciences, College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, College of Natural Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Warner College of Natural Resources. The University has nearly 24,700 resident instruction students.
