Overview

Established in 1964, Harrisburg Atea Community College (HACC) is located in Central Pennsylvania and was the first community college in Pennsylvania. HACC is also the largest and oldest community college in the state of Pennsylvania and offers more than 100 programs across five campuses and through online instruction. Since its inception, HACC has graduated thousands of students and has served the needs of the community and society at large. Over its 50-plus years of existence, the college has grown and expanded to include campuses in Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York, and also offers study abroad opportunities. As one of the largest undergraduate colleges in Pennsylvania, Harrisburg Area Community College has nearly 20,000 students enrolled in credit programs and close to 6,000 students enrolled in non-credit programs.
