Illinois College is a small residential liberal arts college offering exceptional education at an affordable cost on a safe and beautiful campus. For over 180 years, Illinois College has prepared young men and women for lives of leadership and service.

Location

When students come to Illinois College, they will not only be a part of the campus community, they will be part of a city that blends time-honored traditions and historical treasures with vibrant and stimulating arts and culture. Jacksonville is a place where students will feel safe- it has a population of 25,000 people, more than 50 restaurants, eight parks and two lakes.

In terms of connectivity, Illinois College is 30 minutes west of Springfield, Illinois (the state capitol), 3.5 hours southwest of Chicago, and 1.5 hours northeast of St. Louis, Missouri.

Students earn their degrees through a demanding residential liberal arts curriculum of more than 45 majors in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

Finish in 4

The Finish in 4 program is designed to ensure first-time students will graduate in four years or Illinois College will cover the cost of their remaining required courses at IC.
