Overview

The John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a college of the City University of New York in midtown, Manhattan. Established in 1964 it was originally called the College of Police Science. The College is primarily known for its criminal justice studies and it offers graduate and undergraduate forensic majors. A range of academic subjects integral to justice, security and the rule of law are explored. John Jay offers doctoral programs in Forensic Psychology and in Criminal Justice. There are about 12,000 full-time students currently studying there.
