Overview

Life University was founded in 1975 as the Life Chiropractic College, with twenty-two students in attendance. Over the years, the university has grown to become one of the largest chiropractic colleges in the world, occupying over 110 acres of property in Marietta, Georgia. Since its inception, LIFE University has undergone transformational innovation in terms of the campus, in curriculum design, in designing academic programs, and in national policy. The university today is a premiere university with an international reputation for service and as a thought leader in the healthcare industry. Life University also developed the world’s first master’s degree program in positive psychology with an emphasis on secular ethics and more. LIFE is also known to influence policy makers via forums and summits organized through the Octagon, a global think tank for dialogue on health care.
