I came to Stevens with little knowledge of the college or the area – I didn’t know what to expect. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised by the overall friendliness of everyone on campus and the quick feeling of homeliness. I’ve experienced a couple different aspects of the college so far; lived in two of the residence halls, taken a mixture of freshmen, sophomore and junior classes while taking part in research and being a member of both the men’s swimming and crew teams. Of these things, I’ve enjoyed my freedom the most – particularly being able to plan my time to fit in the ideal balance between classes, friends, sports, travelling and of course sleep. Stevens has surpassed all I could have hoped for! It might not have been my first choice college, but I am certain I wouldn’t be as happy and have the same opportunities anywhere else. show less

After spending 2 years in Stevens, I feel so glad I made the right decision 2 years ago. Thanks to Stevens, I made huge progress and I summarized it into 3 aspect. 1. Career Experience Career, I believe, is the most important thing for a college student. We are all making investment on ourselves to study in college, in order to get a better job, which is the return on investment. And Stevens' Co-Op program does help me build my resume and find internship for me. I spent 2014 spring semester worked full-time in the Colgate-Palmolive Company. What's more, I just accepted the 2014 fall internship offer from Nomura Holdings. 2. Academic Experience Academically, I'm doing well overall. I have a 3.52 GPA, and I was an academic tutor for several courses like Mechanics, Circuits and Systems, Electricity and Magnetism. Moreover, I believe the Engineering Design class of Stevens is remarkable, in this class, we are able to design and managing the whole project by ourselves, which is very helpful for engineering students because knowledge starts with practice. 3. Campus Life I love Stevens campus life! Since Stevens is a small university with about 4 thousand undergraduate students, there are tons of opportunity on campus to keep myself busy among different student organization. There are Greek lives, sports clubs, academic group, and so on. I do enjoy and love campus life at Stevens! show less
