University of Memphis

Established in 1912, the University of Memphis (UofM) is major research institution in the U.S. that draws students and faculty from all over the world. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, the UofM welcomes more than 21,000 students to its campus every year. The UofM has graduated CEOs, Grammy award-winning artists, New York Times best-selling authors, U.S. Senators, U.S. presidential candidates, NASA scientists, and other eminent personalities. The university strives to provide an environment that is an inclusive residential experience through communities and programs designed for today's college student. There are eight different communities for graduate students, including international students transitioning and starting their collegiate careers. Faculty and staff go beyond the classroom to help students in all aspects of life, helping them adapt to college life, face new challenges, and pursue their passions.
